Database Module
18 checks across contacts, companies, and deals for data completeness and quality.
The Database module audits the quality of your CRM records — contacts, companies, and deals. It identifies missing fields, invalid data, duplicates, and completeness issues that undermine reporting and automation.
What it checks
The module runs 18 checks (CD-01 through CD-18) covering:
- Missing required fields — Key properties left blank across records
- Invalid email formats — Contacts with malformed email addresses
- Missing company associations — Contacts not linked to a company
- Duplicate detection — Records that appear to be duplicates based on key fields
- Data completeness scores — Overall fill rates for important properties
- Orphaned records — Records with no associations or activity
- Stale records — Records with no updates in extended periods
Common findings
- Low fill rates on key properties — Makes segmentation and reporting unreliable
- High percentage of contacts without company association — Breaks account-based workflows
- Invalid email addresses — Wastes email send credits and hurts deliverability
- Large numbers of orphaned records — Clutters the database without adding value
Why it matters
Your CRM database is the single source of truth for go-to-market operations. When data is incomplete or incorrect, every downstream process suffers — from lead routing and scoring to reporting and forecasting. Clean data compounds value; dirty data compounds problems.
