Notifications

RevTrace keeps your team informed about audit results, task assignments, and portal health through in-app notifications and email alerts.

In-app notifications

The notification bell in the top bar shows unread notifications with a red dot badge. Click it to see recent notifications.

Notifications are triggered by:

• Task assignments — When someone assigns an action item to you
• Audit completion — When a scheduled or manual audit finishes
• Health alerts — When a portal's health score drops below your threshold

Notifications refresh automatically every 60 seconds and when you return to the tab.

Email notifications

RevTrace sends emails for key events:

• Task assigned — When you're assigned a new action item
• Audit complete — When an audit finishes running
• Health alert — When a portal's health score drops below your configured threshold
• Weekly digest — Summary of audit activity and health scores (Business+ plans)
• Monthly digest — Monthly summary of trends and key findings (Business+ plans)

Managing notification preferences

1. Open the user menu (your avatar in the top-right corner)
2. Click Settings
3. Click Notifications in the left sidebar

Preferences are organized into three sections:

• Audit Notifications — Toggle audit complete alerts and health score alerts (with configurable threshold)
• Task Notifications — Toggle task assignment alerts
• Digests — Toggle weekly and monthly digest emails (Business+ plans)

Each user controls their own notification preferences per organization.

Plan requirements

• Email notifications are available on Pro, Business, and Agency plans
• Digest emails (weekly/monthly) are available on Business and Agency plans
• In-app notifications are available on all plans
