How-To Guides
Disconnect a Portal
Remove a HubSpot portal connection from RevTrace.
If you need to disconnect a HubSpot portal from RevTrace — whether you're cleaning up test portals, offboarding a client, or switching accounts — here's how.
Disconnecting
- Navigate to HubSpot Portals in the sidebar
- Find the portal you want to disconnect
- Click the three-dot menu on the portal card
- Select Disconnect
- Confirm the disconnection
What happens when you disconnect
- The OAuth token is revoked — RevTrace can no longer access the portal's data
- The portal card moves to a "disconnected" state
- Past audit results are preserved — You can still view historical audits
- Scheduled audits are paused — Any active schedules for this portal stop running
Reconnecting
You can reconnect a previously disconnected portal:
- Click Reconnect on the disconnected portal card
- Complete the OAuth flow with HubSpot
- The portal is restored with its audit history intact
Deleting a portal entirely
If you want to remove all data associated with a portal (including audit history), contact support. Disconnecting alone preserves historical data.
