Common questions about RevTrace answered.

General

Does RevTrace modify my HubSpot data?

No. RevTrace uses read-only API access. It never creates, updates, or deletes any data in your HubSpot portal.

How long does an audit take?

Most audits complete in 1-3 minutes. Larger portals with more data may take slightly longer.

Can I audit multiple HubSpot portals?

Yes. You can connect multiple portals to the same RevTrace organization. Free, Pro, and Business plans include 1 portal. The Agency plan supports unlimited portals.

Is my data secure?

Yes. RevTrace encrypts OAuth tokens with AES-256-GCM, uses HTTPS everywhere, and follows security best practices. See our Security page for details.

Is there a keyboard shortcut to navigate?

Yes. Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) to open the command palette. You can quickly search and jump to any page or settings section.

Audits

What does the health score mean?

The health score (0-100) summarizes your portal's overall health based on the severity distribution of findings. Higher is better. See Understanding Results for details.

Can I customize which checks run?

You can enable or disable entire audit modules before running an audit. You can also adjust sensitivity presets and time windows. Individual check-level control is not currently available.

How accurate are the revenue impact estimates?

Revenue impact estimates are calculated based on your portal's actual deal data, conversion rates, and pipeline velocity. They're estimates, not guarantees — meant to help you prioritize which issues to fix first.

Account & Security

How do I change my password?

Open the user menu, go to Settings > Profile, and use the Change Password form. This option is only available for email/password accounts — Google SSO users authenticate through Google.

How do I view my login history?

Go to Settings > Security to see your recent sign-in events and connected accounts (email/password, Google SSO).

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Go to Settings > Profile, scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom, and click Delete Account. You'll need to type "DELETE" to confirm. This permanently removes your account and all associated data.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Go to Settings > Profile and click Export Data in the Data & Privacy section. This downloads a JSON file with all your personal data, audit history, action items, and notes.

Billing

Can I try RevTrace for free?

Yes. The Free plan includes 1 portal, 1 audit per month, and access to 3 of 8 audit modules. No credit card required.

What happens when I hit my audit limit?

You'll see a message prompting you to upgrade or wait until the next billing period. Existing audit results remain accessible.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from the Billing settings or Stripe customer portal. Your plan stays active through the end of the billing period.

Technical

Which browsers are supported?

RevTrace works in all modern browsers — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

Is there an API?

Not currently. RevTrace is a web application. API access may be added in the future.

Do you support SSO?

RevTrace supports Google OAuth for single sign-on. SAML/OIDC SSO is not yet available.
