Running Your First Audit
Launch a HubSpot audit and get results in minutes.
Once you've connected your HubSpot portal, running an audit takes just a few clicks.
Quick start
- Navigate to HubSpot Portals in the sidebar
- Click on the portal you want to audit
- Click Run Audit
- RevTrace will analyze your portal across all 8 audit modules
The audit typically completes in 1-3 minutes depending on the size of your portal.
Configuring your audit
Before running an audit, you can optionally configure it:
- Sensitivity preset — Choose from Conservative, Balanced (default), or Aggressive thresholds
- Time window — Set the lookback period for time-based checks (e.g., stale deals)
- Category selection — Enable or disable specific audit modules

What happens during an audit
RevTrace runs 130+ automated checks across 8 modules:
- Lifecycle — Stage progression, MQL/SQL handoff, conversion rates
- Deal & Pipeline — Stale deals, stage regression, pipeline hygiene
- Database — Data completeness, duplicates, invalid records
- Workflows — Broken automations, enrollment conflicts
- Scoring — Lead scoring accuracy and model effectiveness
- Forms — Form performance and data capture quality
- Properties — Unused fields, naming issues, cleanup opportunities
- Reporting — Dashboard coverage and report accuracy
Each check produces findings with a severity level (Critical, Warning, Info, or Pass) and an estimated revenue impact where applicable.
Viewing results
When the audit completes, you'll see the Executive Summary with:
- An overall health score (0-100)
- A breakdown by category
- Priority issues ranked by severity and revenue impact
Click into any finding to see details, a solution guide, and the option to create an action item.
